May 4, 2018. Chicago’s finest Youth Officers presented a communications workshop for teens ages 13-19. The program helped young students to understand self-awareness, express feelings in health ways, develop relation skills strategies, as well as social awareness and being able to “put yourself in another person’s shoes”. The afternoon also covered bullying and dealing with peer pressure. CMSA’s Youth to Youth Mentor Director Joseph Mathews, and his group of students participated in the event. Thank you, 024 District Police Station, for offering this workshop!
