Roshaan Siddiqui Nominated for FIRST Robotics Dean’s List

March 1, 2017 – Roshaan Siddiqui has been chosen for the FIRST Dean’s List Finalist Award and will represent Chicago at the FIRST Robotics World Championship. He is one of 4 students from Illinois who were nominated for this honor. Only ten students from across the nation will be chosen as FIRST Dean’s List winners. The announcement will be made at the FIRST World Championship competition in April. Winners will receive a trophy, public recognition, recognition for their school via a plaque, and an all-expense paid trip to the prestigious FIRST Dean’s List Award Summit in Manchester.

Over 1600 students from Illinois participated in the FIRST FTC robotics program this year. Roshaan, now an 11th grader, has been part of the CMSA robotics team for the past 5 years since he was a 7th grader. In the last 5 years, he has represented CMSA in numerous  robotics events including State, American and World Championships. As a team, all of us at CMSA are very happy and proud of Roshaan’s well deserved success.
