FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA)

 

Chicago Math and Science Academy is dedicated to open, transparent, and efficient two-way public communications through many means, including the Illinois Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The FOIA gives community members access to all public records and information, as defined by the FOIA Act.

*** IMPORTANT NOTES:

  1. All FOIA requests must be submitted in writing whether through US Mail, fax, online, or email.
  2. The completed FOIA requests can be mailed to Principal Huls, 7212 North Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60626.
  3. Principal Huls will respond to FOIA requests within five working days (or 21 working days for commercial requests) as currently required by law. ***Responses may be extended for five more working days as needed and appropriate.
  4. Principal Huls will respond to all FOIA requests within the time required by law. A fee for copying or other services may be charged as allowed by law.
